The Omega Seamaster is a longstanding line of watches from Omega that dates back all the way to 1948. During WWII, Omega made a few timepieces for the military, and one of them included those with a water-resistant case for the watch. After the war, the Omega Seamaster went into production with that feature.
Today's timepiece for sale, the Omega Seamaster Ref. 166.002, is a quintessential classic vintage Omega. With a simple and clean dial, stick hour markers and hands, paired with a date window at the 3 o' clock position, this is a minimalist and quiet luxury look that vintage Omegas typically give.
This watch is powered by the Cal. 565, which is valued by Omega collectors for its great timekeeping and accuracy. Since the movement was first used in 1960s, it grew to be one of the more significant movements produced by Omega, as it was used in the brand's iconic lines of watches like the Seamaster and Speedmaster.
If you are looking for a well-priced Omega Seamaster to wear everyday, this is definitely one to consider!
All watches are preloved or vintage, so please expect signs of user marks, aging, and wear that commensurate with the age of the watch. For more photos and details, please contact us.
